Elizabeth "Liz" Young - Owner & Instructor
Elizabeth Young is a doula teaches, and childbirth education and infant care all over Northern California. During her attendance at a Prenatal Psychology PhD program in Southern California, she realized that she wanted to be there for families in more "hands-on" way. So she moved back home, became a doula, and began her new adventure of helping parents and infants. She is Lamaze qualified, and have been trained by the International Association of Infant Massage. She is currently pursuing her certifications with International Childbirth Education Association.
She have had such wonderful experiences with each and every family. She loves creating classes to personally fit the needs of individual families. Many places don't take people's beliefs, circumstances, or desires into consideration. Liz has made it a mission to ensure people receive the education to birth and parent the best way for them. Her goal in all of her classes is to guide families in a fun and relaxed setting.
Kelly Sundstrom
Kelly is the active, and loving mother of two boys. Whether she is your doula or a room mother at her son's school, Kelly is passionate and sensitive person. It is that sensitivity that motivated a friend to suggest she become a doula. So Kelly dove in to researching doula work by attending a DONA (Doula of North America) Conference. There Kelly was able to immersed herself in learning from experts in the field. She came home and immediately attended doula training. She has continued her passion and support for the mother and for the birth environment. She is dedicated to continual learning, and enhancing the birth experience for the mother and baby. Kelly has been the doula for several natural births. She brings a sincerity and energy to everyone she works along side.
